Size and number of pages

Your book is square (21 × 21 or 30 × 30 cm), landscape (28 × 21) or portrait (21 × 28). How thick it gets you choose with a few settings, not page by page.

1. In the menu, open 'Formaat en bladzijden'.
2. Square 21 or 30: nothing moves; your book only gets bigger or smaller.
3. Another shape: we rebuild the book for the new paper. You can keep your own pages, on the new size.
4. Pages: Calm gives room around your photos; Full makes full pages, with a photo wall on rich days.
5. Thickness: usually you choose between Compact (only the strongest photos) and Full (room for all good photos). On a long trip Balanced sits in between; on a short trip, where it makes no difference, you only see Full. Each setting shows roughly how many pages it becomes.

Why can't I choose an exact number of pages?

We let your photos decide how thick your book gets. A fixed number means filling up with weaker photos, or leaving good ones out. Still want two pages more or fewer? Add them yourself or take them out. It's more work, but it always works.
